Hi I’m Nicolle! Director of Creative Learning Key family chid care. As a former Analyst for the United States Government, I had a daily commute of more than 100 miles a day, 5 days a week, in grueling traffic for 20 years! I know all to well about the scarcity of finding a quality care provider that is open for business early enough to make it to work on time! Not only do you need early hours, equally important is to find a provider offering a safe and nurturing environment where children are happy and able to thrive. For these exact reasons I decided to offer parents an alternative package of care. This package would allow them to have everything their child would need to be a creative individual, in a safe environment, devoted to promoting a healthy sense of empowerment in all children.
MONTESSORI, REGGIO EMILIA, AND TRADITIONAL LEARNING
Creative Learning Key Child Care believes in creating a learning environment for children that respects them as competent children that are full of potential. We encourage a more hands on approach to learning that fosters critical thinking, creativity, empowerment, and the enhancement of self-esteem. We believe this type of learning allows children to learn by being curious, creative, and becoming critical thinkers which will become very important to them in life long skills. Our approach to learning is a combination of what is traditional learning for children, Montessori approach, and the Reggio Emilia approach. Children have a lot of say in what they are learning and how they want to learn. Our job is to guide children in the right way as we learn from them and add to the suggested learning environment.
Children enrolled at Creative Learning Key will have the dynamic opportunity of ascertaining exposure to various activities of the Arts.

A child entering into his or her classroom for the very first time can be very intimidating and overwhelming. This is often times witnessed through morning separation anxiety. But a child who enters into his or her classroom with respect and approval to advance at their own individual pace, stage of development, and mindset will continue to thrive throughout life.
We encourage parents at drop off to watch their little one make an activity selection prior to parting. And once proudly set up in their first learning experience for the day a positive and memorable experience begins their day.
At Creative Learning Key children are respected for their decisions and are allowed to exercise their right to make choices in their daily learning activities. What a wondrous way for us as adults to learn exactly where a child truly is in their very own personal stage of development, which can ultimately assist us in proper and timely implementation in a childs learning process.
